You're someone who could obviously model in a number of other mediums, have you ever?
It’s a funny story but I actually modeled in a fashion show for Polo Sport when I was 8 years old, it was cute because I was just a little girl but I’m not interested in commercial work, really.
And what keeps you coming back to fetish & pinup modeling?
All of the designers, magazines, and companies I work with have styles that go hand in hand with pinup and fetish, not to mention that they are the mediums I feel passionate about. My daily style is a mix of 40’s pinup with corsets, high-heels, boots, and leather.
Do you think fetishism and sex and intrinsically connected, or can they be separate?
I believe they are essential to one another. Whether an admitted or realized fetish or not, everyone has their turn-ons and personal pleasures. Embracing and playing with fetishism can be a powerful tool to enhance sex.
What advice would you give to someone who is new to the scene?
The fetish scene? I’d say bring some kinky friends and head to a fetish party, like Bondage Ball in LA or Torture Garden in London. Don’t be shy and make sure to wear something appropriate, if you know what I mean.
What other projects do you have planned for the future?
I’m working on a new website, www.devoutdeviant.com, it’s going to be a fetish blog. I don’t want to give away too many details yet but it’s going to be aimed at people in the San Diego and Los Angeles fetish scene.
Are there any other creative mediums you work in?
I love graphic design and web design, I designed my personal site – www.foxydevin.com I also design and create hair accessories and fascinators, mostly just for personal wear, but it has become a fun hobby of mine.
