Classic pinup has become a huge phenomena lately, what about it first captured your interest?
I have always loved the pinups from the 40's and 50's. I have always looked up to them since I was young, because they were wholesome, sexy, beautiful, and had an innocent look about them. There was nothing trashy. Nothing like what is popular and considered sexy today. Their makeup, hair, and outfits were all beautiful and classy.
What do you think about pinup becoming part of the mainstream culture?
I don't think pinup has become part of mainstream culture. I think it would be incredible if it was. There have been a few celebrities that have tapped in on it a little, but never stuck with it.
What is it that excites you about pinup modeling?
What excites me about pinup modeling is trying new things, or recreating images that I fell in love with years ago. I also enjoy wearing all the incredible outfits, the gorgeous hair and makeup, and shooting with the old cars and trucks.
Are there any other creative mediums you work in?
Yes, I do other styles of modeling, I own two tattoo shops, and a tattoo removal business.
What are your favorite types of outfits to model in?
I love to model in vintage lingerie, 40's-50's bathing suits, retro styled latex, and couture gowns, and Louboutin heels.
What are your least favorites?
Tacky, cheesy, ugly, cheap fabric, horrible reproductions of vintage clothes.
What is it about Tattoos that intrigues you?
I think tattoos are sexy. It intrigues me when people are heavily tattooed. I love the art, the look, and the strength and commitment someone has to get heavily tattooed.
What kind of music do you like?
I like so many different kinds of music. I love Eminem, Elvis, Doo Wop, M3T3ORS, Johnny Cash, Social Distortion, and Pink.
What do you like to do for fun?
I like to hangout with my husband and kids or friends, go to the beach, and travel.
